MLTNS: Meeting the Needs of Many
In the past few years, the Nature Sanctuary has added several features which have greatly enhanced our outdoor programs.

Field Trip Fee Assistance Grants - Because we strive to make our programs accessible to all, local sponsors of the sanctuary will often provide partial or even full financial assistance for our field trips. Please ask about program fee assistance.

Indoor Classrooms - The classrooms are used for hands-on activities, class introductions, meeting program animals, and when relief from the weather is needed. They make it possible to bring the outside in, and give quality programs regardless of weather conditions.

Disabled-Accessible Asphalt Trail - We can accommodate students with limited mobility. Our Rush Creek Disabled-Accessible Asphalt Trail is one-mile, round trip, and meets all ADA requirements.

Exhibits - Our wall mural, bird viewing area, live animal exhibits and hands-on exhibit have been very popular. Plan to give your students a few minutes to look them over after your field trip.

Wall displays and hands-on areas are popular with students.

Set aside time in your schedule to spend touring the Nature
Center as there is much to see!
